Martin Hesse (1911-1968) - Journey to Paris (1936)
Martin Hesse was the third son of Hermann Hesse and a photographer by profession. He captured his famous father, writer and painter over decades in hundreds of images that remain in demand and unique around the world today. As a young man, Martin Hesse undertook a trip to Paris. However, he was not interested in the sights, but in the living conditions of the marginalised people of this city, marked by war injury and poverty. (luk)
