The Council of Four (from left to right): British Prime Minister David Lloyd George, Italian Prime Minister Vittorio Orlando, French Prime Minister Georges Clemenceau and American President Woodrow Wilson in Versailles. The Council of Four refers to the top Allied leaders who met at the Paris Peace Conference in January 1919 following the end of WWI.
