A MILLION SHILLINGS
HAMARAH, YEMEN- MAY 2008.Having just spent the last twenty-eight hours at sea on the crossing from Somalia, exhausted groups of men and women crouch on Hamarah Beach in the middle of the night. Hidden behind dunes in a pitch black deserted rocky cove on Yemen's southern coast, it took a further three hours before fishermen eventually located the refugees. (KEYSTONE/NOOR/Alixandra Fazzina)
