A MILLION SHILLINGS
BOSASSO, SOMALIA- DECEMBER 2007.Having just arrived after weeks on the road from Mogadishu, twenty year old Kadra Abdi Shide rests on a mattress with her two severely malnourished children- Nasethah and Howha, as they recover in a Phase II ward of the MSF stabilisation centre. Coming to Bossaso with a group of five other young women, Kadra and her children were identified by outreach workers sheltering in the town's overrun Mingis Camp. (KEYSTONE/NOOR/Alixandra Fazzina)
