Sie kombinierten abwechselnd schmale erhöhte Ackerstreifen und Entwässerungsgräben. In vielen Ländern Südamerikas haben sich Reste dieser genialen und hochproduktiven Anbautechnik unter verschiedenen Namen erhalten.
