IRAK ZWEITER GOLFKRIEG
Baiji Refinery, Iraq. Satellite view of the largest oil refinery in Iraq, Baiji refinery is equipped to handle up to 350,000 barrels of oil per day. Located 250 kilometres north of Baghdad, oil for the refinery comes from the oil fields of Kirkuk in the north and Rumaila in the south. In the 1991 Gulf War, the refinery was the target of air attacks from allied forces.
