ANTERIOR SUB CAPSULAR CATARACT ON EYE.
Anterior sub capsular cataract affecting a person's eye. Cataracts are any opacity in the lens of the eye which results in blurred vision. Most common type is found in the elderly; others are congenital or caused by metabolic diseases such as diabetes, galactosaemia & hypocalcaemia. Exposure to ionizing or infrared radiation may also be a cause. Treatment is by surgical removal, either by leaving the capsule of the lens behind or by its complete removal.
