IRAK AQAR QUF
The ziggurat of Aqar Quf / Dur Kurigalzu was built in the early 14th c. BC by a Kassite king, Kurigalzu, echoing Sumero-Akkadian-Babylonian design traditions. Kurigalzu also restored the ziggurat of Ur. Iraq. (KEYSTONE/Georg Gerster)
