Au centre de la scène, Alter 4 est un robot doté d'une intelligence artificielle. Il est accompagné de cinq moines japonais, d'un orchestre de cinquante musiciens français, ainsi que du compositeur Keiichiro Shibuya au piano et console électronique. Alter 4 est programmé pour chanter sa partition mais improvise aussi sa propre mélodie en se synchronisant avec le chœur des moines du Mont Koya. Certaines paroles sont extraites d'essais philosophiques de Ludwig Wittgenstein et de romans de Michel Houellebecq, tandis que d'autres sont générées par son IA, d'après un corpus de chants bouddhistes millénaires...Photo LP / Fred Dugit -......Paris, France, june 20th 2023.
