epa01195663 German Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Guenter Grass visits the site of a protest against the Waldschloesschen bridge which ist to be built over the Elbe river in Dresden, Germany, 09 December 2007. The previous day about 400 people protested against the cutting of oak trees that had to make room for the bridge. The state legislation of Saxony insists on building the disputed bridge argueing the people of Saxony voted for it in a citizens' decision in 2005.
