GROSSBRITANNIEN HOLOCAUST
Holocaust survivor the Revd Ernest Levy lights candles before the Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony in Edinburgh, on Saturday, 27 January 2001. During the war Mr. Levy was sent to Nazi death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, followed by seven other camps, and came to Scotland in 1961 where he was Cantor of Giffnock and Newlands Synagogue.
