PAKISTAN AT WAR: BAJAUR (2008- 2014)
CHARSADDA, PAKISTAN- DECEMBER 2010 .In the first distribution of its kind since the deluge swept through Charsadda five months ago, the heads of flood affected familes formerly displaced by conflict in Bajaur and Mohmand agencies gather on disused land outside the town as they wait to receive rations from WFP (World Food Programme). Much neglected by aid agencies due to their ambiguous status, thousands of families who have been made homeless more than twice in the past two years due to war and then water, are desperately in need of assistance at the onset of winter.
