LAKE LUNGHIN, SWITZERLAND
Lake Lunghin, Grisons, Switzerland. This lake is at high altitude in the Swiss Alps, being 2645 metres above sea level. It has the distinction of being the only lake in Europe that drains into three different seas. The Maira drains to the Adriatic through the Val Bregaglia, The Inn drains through the Engadine valley to the Danube and the Black Sea, and the Julia drains into the Rhine and the North Sea.
