DEUTSCHLAND FLUGZEUGABSTURZ
A writing reading 'flight recorder' is seen near the site of a plane crash in Ueberlingen, southern Germany, Tuesday morning July 2, 2002. Two aircraft were involved in a mid-air collision late Monday evening, near Ueberlingen. A Bashkirian Airlines Tu-154 passenger jet from Moscow bound for Barcelona, Spain and a Boeing 757 from the DHL delivery service were believed to be flying at an altitude of about 12,000 meters (36,000 feet) when they collided scattering flaming wreckage over a wide area. All aboard were believed killed, officials said. (KEYSTONE/AP Photo/Christof Stache)
