GROSSBRITANNIEN MILITAER BAE SYSTEMS EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON
MODEL RELEASED. Typhoon fighter plane maintenance. The central spaces will house the two jet engines. The Eurofighter Typhoon has been developed as the most advanced fighter jet in the world. It is an aerodynamically unstable aircraft that is flown by a computerised flight control system. This allows great agility and a great degree of automation. Its two Eurojet EJ200 turbofan engines fly it at speeds of up to Mach 2. It is designed for many different weapons configurations. The Eurofighter is a joint project between the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. It began in 1994. The first Eurofighter Typhoons will enter service in 2003. Photographed in 2000.
