DEUTSCHLAND NUERNBERGER PROZESSE KRUPP 1948
The industrial magnate Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach, former sole owner of the Krupp company since 1943, holds his closing statement at the Nuremberg Trials at the court in Nuremberg, Germany, June 30, 1948. He was accused of looting, robbery and slave labour. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and his property was confiscated. After the revision of his sentence in 1953 Alfried Krupp had his numerous companies, wealth and property restored to him. Within a few years of his release Krupp's company was the 12th largest corporation in the world. He was born on August 13, 1907 in Essen, Germany, and died in Essen, West Germany, in 1967.
