Kek Lok Si Temple is located in the Air Itam area of Penang, an easy bus ride away from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, where most tourists stay. Being the Largest Buddhist Temple in Southeast Asia, Kek Lok Si Temple is quite a spectacle with stand out features such as the Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas and thousands upon thousands of prayers attached to chinese lanterns lining the walk to the top, where you are greeted by views back over George Town, Penang.
