SKIN CANCER ON PENIS
MODEL RELEASED. Skin cancer on the penis. Close-up of a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) skin cancer (red) on the tip of the penis of a 63 year old man. SCC causes the formation of a large ulcerated area, and may spread to other parts of the body. In its early stages it can be treated by surgical excision, but when more developed, radiotherapy or chemotherapy are required. (KEYSTONE/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY/DR P. MARAZZI)
