Officials in anti-radiation gear examine the burnt debris inside an uranium enrichment laboratory at the Japan Atomic Energy Reserch Institute after fire broke out early Thursday morning in Tokaimura, 115 kilometers (70 miles) northeast of Tokyo, November 20, 1997.
