LDN24 - 20011013 - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: A small banner is placed at the base of Nelson's Column, as marchers assemble in London's Trafalgar Square on Saturday 13th October 2001, to take part in a rally, organised by Britain's Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), against the military strikes on Afghanistan. The rally was originally planned as part of the International Day of Protest to Stop the Militarisation of Space but organisers have put the strikes against Afghanistan at the top of their agenda.
