epa09595106 A view of the grave of an unknown African migrant at a Tatar cemetery near the village of Bohoniki, northeastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus, 20 November 2021 (issued 21 November 2021). The Tatars are a small Muslim minority in Poland. Their origins can be traced back in northeastern Europe since the 15th century. Local women support the Polish soldiers serving at the Polish-Belarus border by cooking and delivering some 300 soups per day, said Maciej Szczesnowicz, head of local Tatar Muslim community. Poland has been struggling to stem the flow of asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants crossing into the country from Belarus. The Polish government says the migrants have been invited to Belarus by the Belarusian president, allegedly under the promise they will be able to live in the EU. EPA/MARTIN DIVISEK
