CANADA CRANBERRY HARVEST
A worker pulls a boom while harvesting cranberries at Golden Eagle Farms, in Pitt Meadows, B.C., on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. Machines are used to beat the cranberries off vines and then the bog is flooded with water. Air pockets in the fruit cause the berries to float to the surface and then workers use booms to corral them before they are pumped into transport trailers and delivered to Ocean Spray for processing.
