Eyal Baum was the only Israeli onboard the Germanwings flight that crashed in the French Alps on route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf on 24 March 2015. The remains that were collected were analysed for DNA on the site in France and then returned to Israel only yesterday for burial. Germanwings is the budget carrier of the German airlines Lufthansa. The plane's co-pilot Andreas Lubitz is believed to have deliberately crashed flight 4U 9525 into the French Alps killing himself and 149 others on board. EPA/JIM HOLLANDER
