In a pit, 100 m3 of co-substrates are daily stirred and hydrolyzed with manure, that is, prepared for fermentation at the biogas plant of BIEAG Biomasse Energie AG in Hueneberg, in the canton of Zug, Switzerland, on May 2, 2017. In the biogas plant Huenenberg, biomass from the region is fermented in two fermenters. Biogenic wastes from the region are used to produce electricity and heat. (KEYSTONE/Gaetan Bally) In einer Grube werden taeglich 100 m3 Co-Substrate mit Guelle verruehrt und hydrolysiert, d.h. zur Vergaerung vorbereitet, aufgenommen in der Biogas-Anlage der BIEAG Biomasse Energie AG in Hueneberg, Kanton Zug, am 2. Mai 2017. In der Biogas-Anlage Huenenberg wird Biomasse aus der Region in zwei Fermentern vergaert. Aus biogenen Abfaellen der Region wird Strom und Waerme nachhaltig produziert.
