BRITAIN-EU-POLITICS-BREXIT
A passenger ferry leaves the Port of Dover on the south coast of England on January 1, 2022. - From January 1, 2022, British importers must make a full customs declaration on goods entering Britain from the EU, and will no longer be able to delay completing these declarations for up to 175 days — as they had been allowed to in previous months to prevent Brexit disruption. Importers will also have to provide advance notice of a consignment containing fresh food, animals and plants before it enters Great Britain. (Photo by Ben STANSALL / AFP) (KEYSTONE/AFP/BEN STANSALL)
