The elder sister of Venus and Serena Williams, Yetunde Price, has reportedly Sunday 14 September 2003, been shot dead in Los Angeles. According to CNN, she was killed after an incident late on Saturday night just outside Compton, the LA district from which the Williams family originally hail. Yetunde, a business management major and registered nurse, would regularly accompany her younger sisters around the world and was often seen at grand slam tournaments.
