28 March 2024, Lower Saxony, Schillig: The first holidaymakers arrive at the campsite. Shortly before the Easter holidays, the first permanent campers have pitched their tents on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony and positioned their caravans on pitches. In steady rain and seven degrees, the first 120 or so campers waited at the barrier of the campsite in Schillig in Friesland early on Thursday morning for the start of the camping season.
