Elisabeth Eugster is a food engineer and normally lives in Zurich, she spends her sabbatical working the season on the goat alp. The alp was inaugurated in 2009. It is the largest goat alp in the canton of St.Gallen, taking in 250 goats and processing 38'000 liters of milk per season, which make for three tons of semisoft cheese. Elisabeth Eugster lebt in Zuerich und arbeitet ueblicherweise als Lebensmittelingenieurin. Sie verbringt den Alpsommer auf Malschueel als Sabbatical. Die Alp wurde 2009 zum ersten Mal vom Verein Ziegenfreunde mit Geissen bestossen. 250 Tiere werden gesoemmert, 38 000 Liter Milch verkaest. Das ergibt rund drei Tonnen Halbhartkaese.
