Adrienne Bolland (1895-1975)
Adrienne Bolland, born on 25 November 1895 and died on 18 March 1975, was a French aviatrix and test pilot. For the French aircraft manufacturer Caudron, she flew a Caudron G-III from Mendoza (Argentina) to Santiago de Chile over the Andes on 1 April 1921 in 4 hours and 17 minutes, making her the first woman to make the solo flight over the Andes.
