USA SPACE SHUTTLE COLUMBIA START
[S 7053] Shuttle launch. View of Space Shuttle Columbia on mission STS-5 as it climbs through the atmosphere during its launch. Mission STS-5 flew from 11-16 November 1982. During the mission it deployed a Satellite Business Systems SBS-3 satellite, the first commercial satellite carried in the Shuttle programme. It also deployed an Anik C3 communications satellite.
