Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965), deutscher evangelischer Theologe und Arzt. Er gruendete 1913 am Fluss Ogooué in Gabun (afrikanische Westkueste) das Tropenhospital Lambaréné. Fuer seine lebenslange Arbeit im Dienst am Kranken erhielt er 1952 den Friedensnobelpreis. Undatierte Aufnahme, vermutlich aus den 1950er Jahren..
